ASBESTOS CEMENT WATER TANK REMOVAL

Our fully trained asbestos removal team have removed many asbestos cement cold water storage tanks usually found in  loft spaces and heating cupboards.

Our asbestos removal operatives are competent to carry out any isolations that supply the asbestos cement water tank unless a block shut down is required (this is usually within a residential block of flats and will require a 14 day notification)

All live services will be isolated and safely capped off prior to cutting the pipes.

Our asbestos removal team will carry out a site specific risk assessment prior to starting the works to ensure that the removal of the asbestos cement water tank can be removed safely weather the method is an intact removal or a non intact removal.

In the instance of a non intact removal the asbestos cement water tank will be sprayed with fibre suppressant and wrapped in two layers of 1000-gauge polythene where it will then be carefully broken within the wrap using a hammer.

On completion of removal of the asbestos cement water tank the localised area will be environmentally cleaned using a class “H” vacuum and tac rags.

Asbestos floor tiles

Asbestos floor tiles were a popular choice for many people and was very common in social housing.

If your dwelling was constructed pre 2000’s there's a high possibility that your flooring contains asbestos as a ban on Chrysotile was not implemented in the United Kingdom until 1999.

vinyl asbestos floor tiles during this period were sold in both 9"x9", 12" x 12" and 18" x 18" sizes.

Asbestos floor tiles can come in a range of many colours and in a lot of instances be covered by carpets , laminate flooring and linoleum floor coverings etc.

Our asbestos removal teams take all the necessary precautions when carrying out removal works.

All asbestos floor tiles will be sprayed with a fibre suppressant to contain any possible fibre release whilst the asbestos floor tiles are being removed.

On completion of the removal works the area of removal will be environmentally cleaned using a class “H” vacuum and sealed using a PVA solution.

All removal works come complete with all the necessary asbestos documentation.
