ASBESTOS GARAGE / SHED ROOF SHEET REMOVAL
Our fully trained asbestos removal team carry out the removal of asbestos cement roof sheets that are usually found on garages , sheds , barns and industrial wear houses.
Our asbestos removal team follow the guidelines from the HSE licensed contractors guide and Asbestos essentials document A14 https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/guidance/a14.pdf
Once our team are on site they will carry out a site specific risk assessment to ensure safe access to the asbestos cement roof sheets in accordance with the HSE working at height guidance https://www.hse.gov.uk/work-at-height/step-by-step-guide.pdf
Once our asbestos removal team have put on the correct PPE and RPE the team will spray the asbestos cement roof sheets with fibre suppressant to contain any possible fibre release whist the asbestos cement roof sheets are being removed.
The team will then locate and cut the secured fixings using hand tools only (bolt croppers).
Once the fixings have been removed the asbestos removal team will then carefully lift the asbestos cement roof sheets from situ where they will then be wrapped in 2 layers of 1000-gauge polythene.
On completion of the works the asbestos removal team will then carry out an environmental clean to the working area paying special attention to the roof joists.
Our clients receive all the necessary asbestos documentation on completion of the works.
